Hi,

I am getting rid of my Olympus e-500, and just want a point and shoot camera which gives good low light performance. Also, I only had an SD camcorder which gives terrible low light performance and want to move to HD.

The amount of video we take is minimal, but its is largely indoors and I am tired of not capturing a single birthday event in any decent quality....so the camera will likely be my main camera and my camcorder.

I quite like the look of both these cameras, so any advice as they are at a similar price point, would be great.

Regards

i

You should consider all the models on this page:

Hi,

Thanks. A number of these dont shoot HD so they are out. the Sony isnt on here, how does it compare with these as one to consider also?

I like the Sonys higher FPS on the HD video, but 25fps may be good enough, and the twighlight mode looks good.

Regards
