since its April already and tz7 is about to come out.. just thinking, which among these cameras might be a good buy? help.. tnx.

All depends what you want to photograph.

I own an LX3 and I bought it for its fast wide angle capabilities and its compactness - not to mention its looks. The lens is truly superb. It's also a great camera to just slip into your pocket and have with you at all times. It's also a camera that I vow to keep for a long while. For some reason it has also got me back into the art of photography.

Just my opinion on the LX3. As for your other options I cannot comment.

Good luck with your quest - personally I think I have found my holy grail.
