I saw some images from both SX1 and SX10 and I was not impressed at all.

My FZ28 went back to Panasonic but I'm still in doubt to buy another one, at 35% less then what I bought mine for.
I really liked the quality of the photo's.

At first I also thought it fellt like cheap plastic and too low weight. Now I'm using my old Canon G2 again and that feels like a block and not so good in the hand as the FZ28.
I've also used the S3-IS, equally heavy then the G2 but better in the hand. To be honest the S3-IS is no competition for the FZ28.
If there is a significant difference in the price I would highly consider the FZ28. That it is using RW2 format is no issue since the new photoshop etc already support it. The rest is just a matter of time.
If you plan to do HDR, which I have not done, I think it would be better to use RAW because you are actually adding up different photo's. If you use jpg then your adding up compressed (not so correct) images.
