I just bought a E-520 and am having trouble with manual focus. I saw the video tour done by camera lab. I don't know how to overlay the alignment grid across the screen like the video tour showed. What button do I need to push to see the alignment grid across the screen like the video.
Thanks

Hi GCSekaran,

May I wish you a warm welcome to the CameraLabs forums.

As you can see, I've moved your question across to the Olympus forum where you will get the most knowledgeable replies...

Bob.

The 10x LV magnification would help you more with Manual Focus than the grid.

To turn it on, go to settings 1D then choose Frame Assist. You can select among OFF/GRID/GOLDEN SECTION/SCALE. For more details go to page 94 of the E-520 user manual.

If I may, I would recommend you to read the manual. The E-520 is a very advanced and customizable camera and the manual helps you to get the most out of it.

Regards,
Tony

Thanks for your help. The E-520 manual does have a lot of information but I think they could have done a better job of explaining things. I guess they can't be everything to everybody. I agree with you that 10X really helps.
