LOL yeah, but I bet when "BOTH" are aware it would be one very exspensive camera...and not entry level/mid range like the E510...but I get what you are saying.

It'll be interesting to see if Olympus includes IS lens awareness into the forthcoming Pro model.

To work in conjuction with the IS in the 510, is that not really saying that the inbuilt IS is not effective?

Maybe for very long focal lengths you might need both.

The built-in IS works just fine on the E-510 - but imagine if the combination of in-body and in-lens could give you 6-8 stops of compensation!

I suspect we may never see this in practice though, but it's an interesting technological proposition...
