Is the new pancake lens 25mm compatible with E-410?

It sure is - it's a standard four thirds lens, so will work on any four thirds body. I've been using it on the E-420 for our upcoming review, and it's fantastic to have something so compact. I think it will greatly appeal to any E-400 / E-410 owners - and the E-5xx series too for that matter...

yes Gordon, I was very tempted, I am planning to get a used E-410 and
then get the pancake to save money, since I won't need the new features

It probably will be great to take it everywhere i go and take many shots
along the way, and also serves as 2nd camera along with bulky 40D

the 25mm is quite a tempting lens, ill probably get one somewhere down the line. probably when i can find one used.

it will be my "party lens." for dark and rather tight situations. not to mention the 25mm not blocking off the path of the flash like the bulky 12-60mm

there are sample shots from dpreview websites

http://www.dpreview.com/news/0805/08051 ... 0samps.asp

I am not crazy about the image quality, it is decent in my opinion.

but the portability is irresistable, I wish Canon has pancakes :D

I am also waiting Gordon for full review of 420 with pancakes :D

Hi Enche, did you know dpreview actively blocks links to cameralabs? So while we don't censor here, in the spirit of fairness I'd prefer not to have links to their site here!

PS - not long for our E-420 review!
