G'day guys,

I was just looking for a new macro lens so I can take photos of protraits. I really like the quality of prime lenses when I want to make a contrast between the person and the background.

I was looking at this one, but its about $900 Australian and its a pro series lens. (splash proof and dust proof)

But then there is the budget version thats $350 Australian.

The f2.0 stop is really tempting, but then I dont really need it, but then I do take a lot of low key pictures when it comes to portraits so it could be helpfull....

If anyone knows what else is avaliable, please direct me, Im thinking that I should do more research than just drool over Zuikon lenses.

Leo

Hi Leo, the price on the lens - in the UK anyway - is £189 GBP. That means it'll probably be $200-$250 USD... Not sure about Oz...
