Hi, after reading all the reviews on bridge cameras, I've come to the conclusion that it would probably be best to just get a budget DSLR =)

I came across e-410 2 lens kit with what I think is a very good price ($550). Now, I am very tempted to get it as soon as possible, but I hear that the prices might drop more at the end of this month/beginning of February. Question is, should I get it now while its still available, or wait a few weeks? Could the price drop lower than that for a new kit with 2 lenses?

Thanks!

Hi lethe,

Anybody who really knows the answer to your question probably isn't saying as they likely work for Olympus or a major retailer!

As for the price, check out Adorama, which is one of our U.S. affiliate stores - you pay the same price but CameraLabs gets a small commission to help with the running costs. They currently have the "Olympus Evolt E-410 10.0 Megapixel Digital SLR Camera, 2.5" HyperCrystal LCD Screen and 14-42 mm & 40-150 mm Lens" (including an Olympus Warranty) advertised for $535.

Tip: If you find a reallly low price it's a good idea to check the store using ResellerRatings.com before you order.

Bob.
