Today I was playing with my Olympus P&S cam. This lil' guy was my first digital camera, and still works great, up until today that is.
I hadn't used it in a while, as it had been replaced by my Canon P&S. I opened up the lens (It's a slider style camera, you know, the ones where you slide open the little door to reveal the viewfinder hole, the flash, etc) and took a few pictures. I then turned it off. Later, I opened it up again to see how close the viewfinder hole was to the lens, just out of curiosity. I opened it up, took a quick peek and closed it without giving a lens a chance to extend. A few seconds later I opened it up again to take a photo, the lens extended, but nothing would turn on. The camera is now stuck with the lens out, and nothing's operational.
I had a few camera problems today, one with this Olympus and another with my Leica M3. Any help would be appreciated!
Also, is this a problem with the battery, and I just need to replace it? I don't remember any low battery signs when I turned it on earlier...
Thanks everyone!
