Any experience on using this with the 35 mm macro lens?

I have no experience using the EX-25 with the 35mm macro, but I have used it with the 40-150mm (old one) and the 50mm macro.
One thing is that DOF becomes even more shallow and also you lose around one stop of light. Using it is not easy and you probably need a tripod or at least a monopod using it (at least I did).
Also autofocus will not work well, but I donĀ“t think it is a big deal as I anyhow use manual focus at maximum magnification.

Of course the nice thing in combination with the 35mm macro is you can get to almost 2x magnification. Working distance remains the same with the EX-25 and that is close for maximum magnification as you know

Thanks Arend, I thnk I will pass on it, I assumed the whole point was so auto focus et al would work, it seems the 35 mm macro particularly with the rebate would be the better idea
