I've been thinking about getting an E-P2 or an E-PL1 for use when I'm at work on lunch breaks. Any users of these, how would you rate your personal experience with them?

Tricky one. I did my own review of the E-P1 when I got it. Basically it is great if you want a big sensor in a relatively small format, but it doesn't totally replace DSLRs or compacts. Tele lenses will be as big as on DSLR so this will only be compact if you stick to shorter lenses. I love the Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 as the only lens I walk around with.

Canon DSLRs: 7D2, 7D1, 5D2, 1D, 600D, 450D full spectrum, 300D IR mod
Lenses: EF 35/2, 85/1.8, 135/2+SF, 70-300L, 100-400L, 100L, MP-E 65, EF-S 10-18, 15-85
3rd party: Zeiss 2/50 makro, Samyang 8mm fisheye, Sigma 50/1.4A, 150 macro, 120-300 f/2.8 OS
Compacts: Sony HX9V, Fuji X100.
