PostPosted: Mon Jul 13, 2009 3:03 pm
Hi am new to the site and this is my first thread, have just bought an Olympus E520 with the 14/42 and 40/150 lenses.Apart from an MJU Olympus compact digi this is my first DSLR. Have always used an OM2N and a variety of lenses in the past but felt it was time to go digital.
Any advise or tips on this camera would be appreciated.

Regards Jono

Welcome Jono to the forum of Camera Labs!

I can't tell you much about the Olympus system, so I'd advice you to ask any specific questions in the Olympus section.

Yep, welcome on-board Jono - I've moved this to the Olympus section.

PS - you may find my tips at www.dslrtips.com useful in the meantime...

if you are going to be doing much manual focusing with your e-520 i highly recommend the ME-1 eyecup magnifier.
