I have a question for you Gordon. I have a Fujifilm S 5100 and i'm pretty sure that it has motorized focusing. I tried out the E-510 at the store and liked the pictures. I don't fully understand the difference between motorized focusing and the focusing say on the d80. -RR

Are you referring to the motorised manual focusing of the Olympus?

If so, it just feels a little detached to me compared to the more traditional mechanically-linked systems of other DSLRs. But it's all personal preference, and of course if you don't manually focus that often, it's a non-issue.
