Hi I Havent been on the site for a while & looking for a little advice. I've been asked by a close friend to take the photographs for her wedding & foolishly I agreed. Firstly as an out & out amateur I need 2 things firstly tips on how to do good wedding photos a referal to a good website would be great & secondly I want to get a good flash gun for my D5100 but not too expensive. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated guys. :D :D :D

Have a look at the following units

Nikon SB700 IS THE BEST ONE
Metz 44AF-1
Metz 52AF-1

It all depends on your experience doing outdoor shots. I always used fill in flash to help eliminate the harsh shadows. If you have time try some outdoor shots before the wedding and take notes what you did. Bear in mind the the brides dress will be white (usually), and the grooms attire usually dark. Don't let the brides relatives fluster you, look as though you are in complete command. Pictures of groups with the bride are usually done after the formals

GOOD LUCK AND MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU (Only Joking)
