Post subject: Nikon pro lens advice
PostPosted: Fri Nov 16, 2012 4:50 am
I'm finally switching to Nikon :) so I need some Nikon shooters to give me an advice. Which are the best Nikon lenses in the price range up to 2200$. Total budget is 4-4500$. I need coverage starting at 15mm up to 200mm. I am already getting the 70-200 VR ii, so any other recommendations? I would be using them on a d800, and I need something that would be doing justice to the high MP count. Please don't bombard me knowledge based on web lens reviews. I need someone that has actually used them, not just read about them. I don't care much about distortions of the lens, need them to be razor sharp and contrasty, especially on the d800. Corner sharpness is a must(the maximum possible, as I know FF cameras are demanding) No third party lenses, Nikkor only. Thanks!

As long as they are as good as the primes at f/2.8 and have same border sharpness, I wouldn't mind. Thanks for the suggestion.
