Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good polarizer filter for my D3100?

Hello batmura, and welcome to the friendly Camera Labs forum!
To enjoy your stay here please have a look at the house-rules!

Hoya is the manufacturer that I use most often.
But are you really sure you need a polarizer? For protecting the front lens against dirt, dust, spray it's recommended to use a clear UV-filter.

Polarizers are very dark, cost much more than a good UV-filter, and swallow about 1-2 stops of light

When buying filters just make sure that the filter-thread (diameter) of the filter is equal to the filter-thread of your lens!

Now that Thomas mentioned it, your camera's filter-thread is 52mm (just a little tip for you :) )
