Good news. Lensrentals updated their blog and the dust issue gets better over time.

Also, I got a chance to hold one at Best Buy and snap a few shots and I thought the grip felt pretty good, fairly compact.

D600 price in Germany is around 1650 EUR (incl. 19% VAT) in many reputable online-shops.
Plus it is the most sought-after DSLR over the last 72 hours on my fav price-search engine - before the Nikon D800 (which is now at 2300 EUR).

Whats the big deal about dust bunnies? Cleaning the sensor is a simple process. Never fear.

Hi pupulv, welcome to the forum.

Have you read Gordon's review of the D600? in the Verdict he does compare it to the D800 and outlines the differences between the two models.

It depends on which one you like best. Try going to a shop and holding them both to see if one fits the hand better than the other.

PS: I never heard of a D5300. Do you mean a D300? If you are upgrading from a DX camera (D5x00 or D300) make sure you have some FX lenses or you won't make full use of the new camera's sensor.

Nikon D600 DSLR is the best choice of camera for all photography lovers. This camera is particularly designed for all kinds of professional and inexpert photography. The only thing about that we have to think is, its high price. I dream to buy this camera in near future.
