Hi I just purchased a D7000 from Best Buy and I've been experiencing some issues. After I shoot a picture (and I'm not attempting to shoot another) it starts "clicking" or what sounds like focusing over and over. I don't know if I've set something wrong, but I know it doesn't sound normal.

I bought just the body and had my own Nikon 35mm f/1.8 AF DX lens. I'm within the window to return the camera but don't want to do so if it is something I am doing wrong. This may be a shot in the dark, but if anyone has experienced clicking/focusing sounds while they aren't trying to shoot or might be able to shed any light on this issue, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

I've never had the problem, can you try another lens to eliminate it's a lens problem. There is a setting to set the speed of auto focus in the camera menu, the default setting on mine gives no problem.

Cheers
