I have some spider-web looking material on the inside of my Nikon lens. My first question is, is it fungus or something else? Secondly, can I get it out? And finally if not possible to get it out will my warranty cover any of this?

Sounds like it could be fungus. There isn't normally anything else in there that shape. Normally it is hard or impossible to clean depending on which surface it is actually on. Warranties usually only cover manufacturing defects, and not other causes. Doesn't hurt to ask anyway.

Mostly, outside of Manufactuer faults, Warranty can mean they dont charge you for the service fee if you ask them to do something, like cleaning, they only charge you for parts or resourses...

Olympus once only charged me for a new front element and the front part of the casing of a lens but didnt charge me for any of the labour or time etc and they normally charge to inspect and look at the thing sometimes. Sometimes it costs $200 bucks JUST to look at the issue b4 repairs outside of warranty.
