I just bought a D5100 and I am reading everything I can on it. Several sites claim that using "Basic" or "Normal" picture quality settings along with a small image size is OK for prints up to 12 x 12. I have a 4 gb memory card, lots of storage on my computer, this just **seems** wrong. Advice?

My advice would be to go full quality all the time, that way you'll never have to say "I can' only print *this* big, but I wish I could go bigger". Plus hard drive space is cheap.

Hi jstme, welcome to the forum, I agree with the above, SD cards are cheap
and you want the best quaility in pixels the camera will give.
