Sorry to say "bye " to nikon

Hai,
I trade my 2 month old Nikon D90 (only 700 clicks)+ 18-105 kit with 4gb Card and a nikon carry case+ 825USD AND GOT

Used
Canon 40D ( will check the count once i figure it out "how")
Canon EF 24-70 L
Canon speelite 580
2 - 4 GB cards

There was nothing wrong with my nikon, but as 40 d is more pro and i got a pro-grade glass, hope its a good idea to move
Also i understand that Nikon lenses r far expensive than the canon counter part. I faced lot of trouble to buy one 70-200, hope now it will be easier.

Good for you if that's your dream camera.

Must be sweet to use a 24-70 after the kit lens.

Nikonians and Canonites each have reasons to envy the other brand's lenses.
I am not sure a 40D is really more "pro" than a D90, but the L lens and 580EX flash are certainly pro-level.

Then again, a pro set of gear doesn't make you a pro. :)

But I wish you the best of luck with your swap. I think both brands have their strong and weak points.

Good luck with your new camera! That's a beautiful piece of glass that you got with it.
We'd love to see some sample images!
