hi. i have a problem with my d7000. i sent it on service for back-focus calibration , but when it returned it dosent show my batery level .

-no batery level/info - on the small top lcd
-when i try to acces battery info in setup menu -> this option is not available with curent setings.
-on the main lcd, no battery info either, just a small plug symbol

i checked all the camera setings, all seem fine, i reupdated the firmware, i already had the latest one, no luck.
any ideeas?

the battery i am using is EN-EL15

Hi dyaa28,

May I wish you a warm welcome to the CameraLabs forum.

Sorry to hear you have a problem. As you can see from my Sig I'm not familiar with Nikon but my first check would be to take out the battery and make sure the contacts are all clean and that there are no foreign objects inside the battery compartment. If that doesn't work then, given it has just come back from a service and that it worked beforehand, I think your next step is the obvious one.

Bob.

hi dyaa28, I have the same issue. D7000 has also been serviced by Nikon to replace the logic board. Did you find a solution?

Regards,
Trevor
