The 85 macro is f/3.5, never understood why, but now it is possible they created a gap between f/1.8 and the macro, f/2.8 would have been "too close" I assume.

Whaaat? Just as we are saying we want a Nikon 85 f1.8 AF-S, a 50 1.8 AF-S is released, or is it? As the official Nikon page has bee pulled...

There's a solution for that, check your spam folder :lol:

I saw the 50 on Nikon's site, as well as the blog with the sample pictures. It looks exactly like my 50 1.4G, but it has an ASPH element which I think should aid with the CA.

Hey, guys! I've been gone for a while, but I moved countries in February, so I hope to contribute regularly again.

Man, this lens has been really hard to find. I've been trying to hard to find one at the right price but I haven't been able to find it. Now I moved to South America where Nikon really doesn't even exist! It's amazing, if you find one, please let me know! :wink:
