I had a Nikon D70 for 6 years, did not use it a massive amount until recently and I have played with Aperture and Shutter Priority mainly. I took some reasonable pics but nothing amazing.

I decided to get a D300s which is superb, I already had a Nikon VR 18 - 200mm lens so I am quite pleased at the moment with my setup.

I have to say, I am struggling a bit with it, I know what all the buttons do and most settings and I have the theory in my head. I just seem to go out, take pics with settings I think should work, come home and they are all pants! I end up deleting most of them and it is quite disheartening. :(

I just wondered if there is anyone in the Fleet or surrounding area who would be up for meeting up for a morning, afternoon at a nice location to take some pics and perhaps offer any advice? Also it will be nice to share info, pics meet new friends etc....

:D

Don't forget to also look at my video tour of the camera in my review as it shows what some of the buttons do.

Ah yes, will do Gordon. I did watch them before buying the camera and forgot they were there.

Thanks
