I must be missing something...

So to adjust the brightnes of the video, you have to adjust the shutter speeds? Does it not just adjust itself liek say on a PnS?

Grainy videos?

oh it does. but the metering can be thrown off by colors- it still behaves very much like a dslr.

keeping the metering locked can prevent the camera from getting confused by a black shirt.

btw, another video

carwash

i have a link on my previous post.

notice how the exposure stays the same in each scene?

it normally would get brighter/darker as i walk around the camera.

here's some where the sound is retained..

carwash on smugmug

carwash in vimeo*still processing.

take my carwash video for example...

there's a shot of the cefiro badge, from there you can see a lil bit of a flare. Had the exposure not been locked, the picture wouldve been really dark.

Congratulations on your D90 fraternity! When you've all been shooting for a few years and are ready to move up a couple of levels, we in the D40 club will be happy to consider your applications :-)

LoL..in all seriousness though..there may soon be more D90 users than D40 users around here. "Ninety is the new Forty" perhaps?

Having used a D90 for a bit, I feel that this camera is just about the perfect sweet-spot camera. Fantastic set of features and performance for a manageable price.

Cheers :-)

Anyone know anything "The 123 of digital photography" cd program that came with the D90 ?

I have installed it but now it asks for a serial number which I cannot find.
Where is it located?

( this is the message it gives me )
