Hi guys, as promised, I spoke with Nikon and gleaned the following:

6mm f2.8 had an RRP of £7,665 in 1991 and was then "price on request" until around 1997 when the last one or two were sold.

2000mm f11 has always been listed as "price on request" until around 1995/96 when the last orders were taken. The lens was sold for around £9,700 - £10,000.

Although expensive, thats still quite a bit less than what they sell for now.

This Wikipedia article says that the 6mm was originally designed for an expedition to Antarctica and it has 220 degree field of view.

I think Nikon should have a camera museum website like what Canon has so that we can view all these interesting lenses.
