I have heard that when the D300 comes out in Sept. the D200 will go down in price. Does anybody know by how much?

hmm...That's a good question, I am going to assume maybe a drop of $200-300, and maybe Nikon might even discontinue the D200  I can't come to a conclusion yet, but for time being let's just hope for the best

well if it drops $300 then I am sure getting it instead of the D80.

A lot of people will gladly pay more for a D300 if delivered in September. Nikon said November though...

Hmm.. I'd still don't know what to go for, if I sell some of my unwanted stuff. but in the meanwhile I am saving up for a D200 or the D300
