Camera Labs

I'm thinking of getting either an SX130IS or SX150IS in order to record some lectures at my school. My 7D can only record about 24 minutes of a lecture at a time, so I have to keep restarting the recording and then join the video files later. Also, occasionally the lectures go long enough that the sensor's heat warning comes on.

The specs for the SX130IS and SX150IS claim to be able to record about 1 hour 25 minutes, which I think is long enough for my purposes. But all of the reviews I see mention less than stellar battery life. If I use quality batteries (Eneloops), will I be able to comfortably record for an hour and a half without worrying?

If not, can anybody suggest a sub-$200 camera with the following specs:
- approx. 28mm on the wide end
- record over an hour in HD (720p is fine)
- decent quality in mediocre (classroom) lighting
- it's not a necessity, but it's a nice perk that the SX130IS and SX150IS would be decent for stills if necessary
