As long time visitors to the forum may have noticed I have spent a lot of time down the local park. There doesn't exist any external angle of a duck over water I haven't photographed. I felt like I've done that to death and then some. So this year I've noticed my visits out there have dropped right off.

I'm debating... maybe that's a good excuse to dabble with video? I haven't video'd a duck from every angle, yet.

Should I use the HX9V or SLR? Maybe both, but then I might have colour balancing issues? Not sure I have a clue how to grade video. And maybe I need to dig out my external mic.

What style to go for? Tour guide? Nature documentary? Something else?

I got Premiere Elements 7 to edit it if that's sufficient. Bought it ages ago, might as well use it seriously some time!

I dunno... any thoughts or suggestions welcome at this point. Like most things, without a clear goal nothing much will happen...
