So, I really like this idea... but there is something about it that makes me tilt my head. I don't see how my SB-600 would mount. I see where it slides in, but there is no set screw to hold it there. What's up with that?

Well I went to Ebay.co.uk to see if they had the same....they do.... item number 200683566945 if anyone wants to look..(no it is nothing to do with me)

But you are correct there is nothing to secure the flash other than the friction from slotting the foot of the flash into the shoe shaped cutout in the stand itself. It does appear that the shoe fitting has a sprung element in the back of the shoe which may help but I think the idea is you mount the flash after it is all set up and should not need it to be any more secure than that..??

You never know someone might want one....so I thought I would give my thoughts....How long should a question be left before it is ignored completely??
