Can anyone recommend me small flashes like the SB-400, but that have a manual output selector?
Non brand specific, also doesnt need to be for digital, I plan to use it with a sync cord only

what type of photography would you need them for, how much are you will to spend?
I'm presuming you want to use them wireless if you are just using sync cord only, if so what wireless system are you using?

cheers stefan

The Yongnuos are very good for the money, they only cost £30 to £40 GBP. There is no automatic metering or any of that fancy stuff, just 3 settings.

1. Mode (Manual, Slave 1, Slave 2)
2. Power Setting (up and down)
3. Pilot button (to make it flash)
4. Power button (on and off)

It couldn't be simpler really.

There is no PC syncronisation socket, so you will have to purchase an adaptor.
