The YN 467 is not CLS-compatible. This means that the slave mode needs a powerful light source to trigger the flash, so with your current set-up you are still stuck with the built-in flash. The only solution that I can think of (without having to buy anything else) is using the built-in flash at a low power setting and using a relatively small aperture, like f8 or f11. This way, the built-in flash will still trigger the YN467 but will have little to no effect in the lighting. Set your built-in flash to manual mode 1/128 power and the flash to S1 slave mode. As an alternative, you can buy a set of radio-triggers. There are really cheap models like the RF-602 or cactus triggers.

Also, as a side note; a commander flash will always fire even when the power is set to (--) because the system needs to send TTL information through very short flash pulses, which are usually called TTL pre-flashes.
