Hello all,

I was looking for help as to flash diffuser for nikon-d90 pop up flash.

I dont use flash enough to warrent spending hundreds of dollars on a sb600 800 or 900. So I was wondering which diffuser will be the best to use.

Can't go wrong with a post-it note stuck to the front of the camera. If you need a bit more professional looking thing, look on ebay, im sure there will be something on there for a few $$

Hi David,

You might consider http://lightscoop.com/ as well. It is one way of diffusing the light and also get you better directionality on the light (i.e. not head-on).

Might I suggest you have a look at the SB400 as an option too? It recycles faster than any of the other SB-flashes, is cheaper and can be tilted in one dimension. I use this very inexpensive flash for daytime fill-light quite often, instead of my bulky SB-600.

Truth be told, if you can find yourself a hot shoe flash, you'd be a lot farther ahead. Even if it's a third party flash, you can get them on e-bay dirt cheap.

Just fit something white/translucent to your flash, and make sure the light spread is even. Me and Bjorn used white Canon bags over our flashes at an event. Worked well.
