I see these flashes for canon, nikon ect have different part numbers for all the different camera, but is this to use it on the camera, and will any of the flash work as a off the camera flash or do it still have to be made for that camrea?

any non-sony flash will work off camera if you use a radio trigger like the Cactus V4, but make sure they can be set manually

Well I just won one on ebay that fits the Sigma camera and not the Canon, I read a review that said it was compatible with SIGMA AF, NIKON AF, CANON AF, SONY AF, PENTAX AF and after I bidded, I then read, they all had different part numbers.

So now I got one of Sigma Electronic Flash EF 530 DG Super flashes for the Sigma AF,

WOW got my flash today and its Secondhand and not brand new and I ended up getting the Sigma Electronic Flash EF 500 DG Super instead of the Sigma Electronic Flash EF 530 DG Super

Ebay is a joke sometimes
