Even though it's not even available yet, there's already a 'rebate' for the Sony DSLR-A900. Only for the Dutch though.

If you reserve the camera at DigitalWarehouse.nl (pay 250 in advance) and take your Minolta 5D / 7D or Sony A700 (all must be working, no broken parts), you'll get €500,- for them, which will allow you to buy the A900 for 'only €2500,-'. You do have to pick the camera up in Amsterdam though, so they can check whether the 5D/7D/A700 is not broken.

I'm sure the A700 is worth more than €500. You might even get more in a private sale and then putting that towards an A900.
