Taken from my loft, this shot is of downtown Seaburn on the Sunderland sea front. Shot in RAW with Canon 40D at 1/250, f/9, ISO 100. Edited in Elements 6.


This is a favourite shot for many photographers! Shot in Jpeg before I got my Elements 6 so it lacks detail unlike the first shot and I cant find the info in what settings I shot it with. Again edited with Elements 6.

Again, any tips/hints is welcome.

Ah, Durham Cathredral! Very impressive, inside and out.
I like the b&w transcript you did, nice play with the dark woods surrounding the house.
What I don't like is the "shadow-frame" you put around this image.
And, unfortunately, your 1st image doesn't ring a bell with me :(
