Hello warth man: Kirkby Lonsdale looks like a beautiful little town!
Unfortunately the power lines and the obvious use of a mobile by the walking man ruin the rural atmosphere in #2 - an otherwise nice vista...
On a techical note re posing images here: You master the way to copy the correct code from flickr into your post(s). Just leave out the enclosing [img]...[/img] tags, than everything is perfect. I've edited your post accordingly.

Thank you Thomas. I take your point about man with mobile. Here's the same street as pic 2 above, taken a few moments later. Not a lot I could do about the telephone cables unfortunately - as you can see, they continue right down the hill, from successive poles.

Also, trying this time without the image tags. Thanks for your pointer. I thought they had to be used.

Hey Kirby, If you have access to Photoshop CS5 (not sure if CS4 had it) you can take those phone lines out with a quick swipe of the mouse you would never imagin that there was a sidewalk running the length of this photo http://www.cameralabs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28292 There was also a bush in the lower left but I think you can see where that was

Hello Mike (really sorry Mike - I've added the "o" now. How embarrassing is that???)

I have Elements 8. Not sure if it has such a fancy tool but I'll check it out. However it would only be sensible for the lines prominent against the sky. Otherwise, the pic records what is there.

WM, use the clone tool in elements 8 to remove things like those lines.
