A favourite of mine from a recent visit to the UK. Another house in Crondall, Hampshire. Slightly younger than the cottages in the area, but still around mid to late 1700's.

Lots of work in Silver Efex on this one, but I like the result.

Nice work, but I think I would been tempted to get rid of the TV ariel and satellite dish!

and the burglar alarm!

hahah yeah, I reckon the burglar alarm would be 10 times easier than the ariels, the bricks would be easy to clone, not so sure about that cloud.

I've just moved up to CS5, so content aware fill should take care of things pretty easily. The healing brush in content aware mode is a fantastic tool.

I think for future reference it's best if you ask the owner if it's OK to edit their photos before editing them yourself and reposting.

I saw your post earlier today and thought "very nice" but didn't comment publicly, something I rarely do these days.

And now I see that a new member violated your copyright. It's been quite a while since we saw this last and
I'm very sorry indeed that it has happened. Actually I'm more than sorry as it makes me furious that any member
can behave so irresponsibly.

However I hope some good may come of it as I've just realised that we don't have a specific clause forbidding this
sort of copyright violation in our rules so I'm going to take pre-emptive action and amend those rules. Such amendment
will be subject to Gordon's final approval when he gets back shortly from Florida but I hope that it will go some way
towards rectifying the situation. Here's my first draft which I have inserted into our forum rules:

As a photography forum we are always delighted when members choose to share their work here. In doing so they do,
of course, retain full copyright and that means that no member may repost other member's images, either in original
or edited form, without the explicit permission of that member. Such permission may be given in the containing post
or may be sought via PM. Any violation of another member's copyright will be viewed most seriously!

Hey Phil, I thought Brits were tougher than that, Liverpool kiss and the like. I understand your reaction as your take your photography serious but Richard has apologised and Bob has taken immediate action to prevent this from happening again.

I for one would be sorry if you left the forum as I have leant many things from your posting and you always answered my queries.

Like many on the forum you seem to have turned to the new colour of B & W which I don't find appealing as most of them on the forum for me lack vibrancy so I make no comment to any of them. I do realise that to produce a shot in B &W can take quite a bit of time in PP and we all have our personal preferences. Looking forward to future colour shots from you,

I don't mind people editing photographs if asked but this particular edit could be considered as 'taking the p!ss', which I didn't take too kindly to at the time. I'm not particular enough to consider my copyright breached, but it is good that Bob has put this ruling into effect.

So apologies to Richard if it's got him into any trouble, lets put it behind the two of us and move on.

On a lighter note, I don't know how Richard knew I was a Porsche man, but if I owned the property and the classic Porsche I would prefer to use the double garage provided rather than the roof!

I am sorry, I didn't realise it was such a serious transgression, its a lesson learnt.

Thank you for your last post. We all make mistakes on occasion and interacting at a distance with each other via the forum makes that surprisingly easy to do.
