Straight behind where this photo is taken is Meydan, which is a large horse racing track where the richest race in the world, the Dubai World Cup, is held.

This bridge links one of the main carparks to the road network - I'll have to revisit at twilight or night as it's uplit in psychadelic blue, which should work nicely with the Dubai skyline.

Beyond the bridge in this shot is 5km of desert before the Sheikh Zayed Road skyline, Burj Khalifa and other skyscrapers.

I was driving through on the way home from work and thought the bridge could draw the eye to the approaching sunset - a bland cloudless sky unfortunately (the norm in Dubai for 11 months of the year)

Nice one Phil, love how the bridge leads to the sunset.

This is an old one unearthed by a spam post.

Shot with a D90, but using a D700 these days...

Wow, it's so nice. The bridge shape is beautiful.
