Hi Saurav

I'm liking your photoblog...

On The North Block and Garden of Lights you seem to have exposed the photos well for the lighting, but you've lost a lot of building detail in the darker areas.

I'm a relative noob, especially to pp, but here's something I've been practising recently which may help you:

I'd recommend a bit of pp-ing to change things. If you've got Photoshop or Elements you can select the areas that need lifing and adjust the levels - not so much that it looks artificial, but at least so that it brings our a bit more detail. Have a google and see what you can find on levels in photoshop...

Here are a couple of photos to illustrate - no great photographs but it should illustrate what can be done fairly easily:

Here the underlighting on the bridge caused the background buildings on the right to be very underexposed:

On this version, the buildings were selected and levels have been adjusted to brighten things up a little.

Thankyou Al for visiting my photoblog.

This is a template based photoblog by pixelpost. You too can create your own here http://photoposts.org/register

Its a simple interface where you can select your favorite template as to how the website layout will look like. Then you just login to the admin page and start uploading the images with blogs. You can add categories, tags... etc

There is no requirement of any development knowledge, but i u have your own web-space you can upload it there and also do further customization in the appearance.

If you need more info you can send me a mail : saurav.tech@gmail.com

Regards
Saurav
