I like the 1st Picture & I would prefer crop the centre & make it into Portrait mode :)

I quite like the first picture as it is. The streets to either side of the centre give it a sense of perspective, which would be lost if it was cropped. I find myself 'peering' along those streets and wondering what else there is to see down there.

I think the second one is a bit 'busy' and it would have benefited from a hint of foreground, ie pavement/sidewalk.

Interesting shots.
