I'd love some input on these shots, taken at dusk with fairly low light. Thanks for looking:

I really like these shots! the lighting at dusk is always a good source to use... I try to get out with my camera sometimes during this shot period of time. Good B&W with the lamp. The high contrast is perfect in this shot.

Thanks, MBrutus, for the feedback. I've definitely got some more experimentation to do, and I need to get back out there with a tripod.

The day I shot these I was out with some photography friends and it was very cold and windy, so not the time to get out the tripod! Lots of blurred pix for all of us that day, trying to hand hold with frozen fingers...

I love the second shot. The tones look really nice, it looks like you used film. :)

Thanks - there is a bit of film-like grain to this, probably due to shooting at ISO 6400. No post processing here, aside from upping the contrast, converting to b&w, and a touch of sharpening.

I'd love to play with one of those film grain plug-in toys, though! Thanks for looking!
