Nikon D40
18-55mm kit lens.
ISO 200
WB.. Tungsten
F/5.6
Exposure, 2.5 seconds
Focal length 52mm.

First night out with my D40, had great fun experimenting with different settings.
Used tripod and the little Nikon remote control shutter release.

That is pretty sweet! The colors are REALLY nice! I sometimes like these types of shots in B&W but for this I think that the color is better. For some reason I think that B&W on these tends to show better contrast on the water and sky... But with all the color in this shot I don't think I would waste it!

I would made that shot using a more lower angle,to catch that street & the polls.
Still,it shows beautiful details,no blowed up lights,a good nighshot. :)

Thats very kind of you guys to comment,thankyou.
The bridge {Gateshead Millenium} changes colour every few seconds.
It also tilts to let small boats through.
