First off, happy new year to you as well!

I love the shot! Great way to use your shutter! I love doing long shutter shots. The water is nice and the statue is an interesting thing to photograph! Great shot!

P.S. I did not do well on my first attempt at night photography... So you are step higher then me!

Thanks a lot for your comment.I've been reading for months magazines, websites and watching a lot of videos, long before I bought my camera. But theory and practice two different things,so maybe I got lucky. Another thing, I got a few coloured spots in the shot I suppose due to the sensor heating during the long exposure.I got rid off them using Photoshop, are there other methoods?

I personlly don't know how to get rid of them while taking the photo other then shortening the shutter... However that would not let you get the shot you want... I have always just taken them out during PP.
