I have been playing around with photoshop since i got it like a week ago. This is the first decent output I've had, at least in my own opinion.

i like what you did with this shot!

but personally i would clone that bush and that island out.

i'd also burn the horizon more into the shot as to give it more impact.

the water and the sky seems to very little contrast between them.

I think the word is "deffo" .

When I see a photo of which I think that it would be interesting to see how it would look with a few tweaks applied I drop it in my editing software to try it out. Just right-click>copy and 'paste as new image' in the software. Once you're done you can simply close it without saving and it's gone again. Useful exercise too. So I gave this one a try and I must say that it will look much better with a few tweaks to the histogram/luminance channel. You should definitely try that out.

I took your advise and tried to make it look a little more contrasty (is that even a word?).
