Camera Labs

Hello! I recently bought a camera, my very first camera to be exact. After a LOT of reading (most of it on this site to be honest) I finally decided to go with the Canon EOS 450D. I also bought a Canon 55-250 zoom lens and Canon 50mm f/1.8 fixed since I heard so many good things about it. I've already taken quite a few pictures, most are garbage ofcourse but I thought I'd see what the far more experienced people think of these ( taken with the 50mm f/1.8 ):

I did some PP in Photoshop CS3 such as crank up the exposure a little, increased vibrance, reduced saturation and a bit of levels.
