We should have a sticky post dedicated to fire pics! They can be pretty neat. I was just experimenting around a campfire here, and got some embers flying up:

It's not superb, it would've been better if I had mounted it on a tri-pod. Although, I guess it's half-decent for hendheld!

Opinions or comments appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks, I don't have the data stored for the photo, but if I can remember it was 400 ISO and somewhere between 1/3 and 1 second.

It's not half decent, it's pretty good, expecially for a 1/3s holding.
