I did a long exposure (Entered in this month's contest) of a streetlight with the camera on a ground angle in the basement through a window. What are your opinions on this?

My main complaint would be the lines, considering that this was taken with a screen in front.

From someone who has had a DSLR for a few weeks only and doesn't know much about photography, so this is all based on my artistic taste:

The picture itself doesn't appeal to me. Did not like it. The only thing that attracts me is the feeling of it being shot by a good vintage camera, and I can't guess if that's the case, maybe it's due to the screen lines.
