This is shot on a Canon XSi. Lens is the Type 1 Leica R Summilux 50mm. I tend to shoot wide-open so this is an example of a wide-open shot on that lens. As the lens does not report its aperture to the camera, the EXIF data claims an f/2.0 but it is actually at 1.4.
ISO is at 800 and the shot length is 1/5s. Shot freehand.
The lighting was iffy at best and there were neon signs that tinted everything slightly pink. I think it contrasted well with the teal color of the bike. Also I would much prefer to have shot on a full-frame but as I do not have a digital of my own yet I have to make do (and may get a 1.6x anyway).
"Why do things have to suck so bad?"
a friend once asked me.
"Because space is a vacuum. And that's a lot of suck."
I replied. [Me/A friend
