My first shots with the 35mm F3.5.
These were all taken at 200iso via JPEG on a windy day.

Comments are welcome :)

Please post any questions about lens, I will give it my best.
Ohh yeah..the auto focus kind of sucks when your up close, i had to lock it on to 1:1 and move the camera to get objects in focus. I found that the easy way to do it. Over all great lens, paid only $188 for it btw

WOW! I love the one of the bumble bee. these are some great shots, I think its a great lens from the looks of the photos. I would use a bit more DOF in some of the flower shots though.

I'll try to do some at f10 or F11 to get more DOF. I did these at lunch in 15 mins or so, I think i set the camera to the "macro" mode. lol first time i used that side of the dial :)

Thanks for your feedback, I will post some more soon.

Nice shots!

Seems like it's a great lens, but I doubt I will buy it in the near future, because the 70-300mm seems to work just as fine for macro shots.

I love this lens for macro work..if you need to get really close..but the AF does not work close up, Manuel focus + live view really really really helps. But everytime you come in contact with the camera, the image shifts focus. So what i ended up doing is getting a focus rail and use it with live view, set the focus to 1:1 (or other) then move the camera to get desired focus. This lens has a 35mm equivalent macro of 2:1 very good for a lens that only costs 180 bucks.

I'll post some more images soon :) Thanks for the feedback, all questions are welcome.
